VIVIENNE T. CLARKE, FCA, FCCA

ASSOCIATE

Vivienne T. Clarke is a highly skilled professional with twenty-five (25) years executive managerial experience in the fields of financial planning, design and implementation of financial and cost accounting systems, feasibility studies, project administration, management and statutory audits, and working capital management.

 

She has ten years statutory audit experience operating as contractor for Chapman James & Associates, Hayle & Associates, CPH Consulting, Chapman & Associates and Dalma P. James & Associates.

 

She is a Fellow of both ICAJ and ACCA, a Registered Public Accountant and an associate member of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners of the United States of America. 

 

Additionally, she has six years experience as Director of Financial Administration in the Ministry of Agriculture and was responsible for administering loan and grant funds received from International Funding Agencies. She also served as Chairperson of the Ministry’s Contracts Committee supervising the selection, award, monitoring and evaluation of service, supply and infrastructure contracts.


Vivienne has maintained the currency of her professional qualifications by participating in seminars on ‘Train the Trainer’, Implementation and Integration of computerized systems, Computer Programming, Forensic Investigations, IFRS’s and ISA’s.


Her experience has been garnered in both commercial and audit environments locally and overseas, working in senior positions in a wide range of entities. Vivienne was Senior Auditor in two (2) forensic investigations of Credit Unions; and has completed a three year assignment in Haiti where her duties included team leader for statutory audits, business consultancy, and acting as Financial Controller for the country’s only brewery.





Vivienne has served as:

  • Chairperson, Library and Web-site Development Committee (ICAJ)

  • Member, Student Affairs Committee (ICAJ)

  • Member, Public Relations and Publications Committee (ICAJ)

She has also lectured at the following institutions:

  • University of Technology (UTECH) formerly CAST

  • University College of the Caribbean, formerly Institute of Management & Production

  • Student’s Accountancy Training Consortium

  • Management Institute for National Development (MIND) formerly FACT

This combination of wide ranging experiences has created a well rounded individual with the vital management skills required to ascertain and implement organizational, procedural, financial and other management techniques critical to achieving the objectives of diverse enterprises.
